Remains of early industrial sites in woodland areas: Antiquarian problems concerning sites with continuos production over long time periods

This essay deals with the results from an archaeological investigation of the remains of an early complex industrial site. The site consists of a blast furnace and a hammer situated between two lakes in Kärvingeborn, in the mining district of central Sweden.
